Correspondence, articles, clippings, and supplementary materials concerning CHICAGO MEDICAL RECORDER, a medical journal which carried quackish ads, though it sometimes dropped them if the AMA protested, 1906-1915; Chicago Medical Society, 1919-1970; Chicago Physicians & Surgeons Economic League, a short-lived attempt to form a labor union of physicians and surgeons (it was shunned by the AMA), 1927-1938; and B.W. Child, who edited NATURAL HEALTH SCIENCE, a newsletter promoting alternative practices such as chiropractic, mental healing and food fads, 1910-1911.
